This is a print from one of my digital paintings.
A woman stands next to her companion, a dapple-gray Andalusian horse. With a lantern in her hand, she seems to be signaling back and forth with a distant lighthouse. Beyond the lighthouse a menacing storm approaches from the sea sending lightning forking down to the waters below. The effects of the storm a just beginning to reach the beach as a strong wind blows through the woman’s skirt and the horse’ s mane and tail. The water also rises with as the beginning of the storm surge begins to create tide pools among the dunes.
