A horrifying monster with pale skin, long claws, sharp teeth, and an elongated head with antlers emerges from the night mists. Meet the Wendigo.
The Wendigo is an Algonquian legend. It's sometimes described as a creature and other times a spirit that drives people to cannibalism. Here, I've opted for depicting it as a creature. Generally it's described a an emaciated humanoid with pale skin and sunken eyes. Sometimes the is has a human like head, but others something more like a deer's head with antlers, which is what I've gone with.
From the artist: I was actually planning on doing a larger scene featuring the wendigo, but I wanted to try him out on his own first. This one is inspired by "Saturn Devouring His Son" by Francisco Goya.

This print (fulfilled by Printful) has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
Considerations:
• Prints may seem a bit darker than what you see on the screen as the print is not illuminated the way a computer monitor is.
• Depending on the size selected, some cropping may occur.
• The print is unframed and will be shipped rolled in a tube.
• Because the print is created on demand, I do not accept returns; however, if there is a problem with your order, please contact me and I will work with you to remedy any issues.
