A woman in a yellow dress and a gray horse in Native American war paint make their way together through a dark swamp. The woman seems to be warily searching the area. The two cast a reflection in the still water they stand in.
From the artist: For this work, I was trying to test out this pose with the woman standing by a horse holding its head. I wasn't really putting much thought into the setting, but I found I liked the way it was starting to look with a dark closed in environment with a watery reflection. It doesn't really make much sense as a western scene as there really are no swamps in the American West, but I still like it.
