Three war horses stand in tall golden grass as the winds of the prairie blow through their manes and tails. Each Indian pony wears an array of colorful war paint. All three of them gaze intently at you the viewer. Behind them, puffy cumulus clouds rise in the sky in the afternoon heat of the American Wild West.
From the artist: This work is part of my series of war horses. Typically, I only depict one horse in a scene, but, for this one, I wanted a really large and wide work, something that would work for a sofa sized artwork. So I decided that three together would fit the bill.
