Friesian Horse and and Dark Skies

A black coated Friesian horse stands on a grassy hill side as a menacing storm rolls in. Thunder roars as the storm winds blow through the dark mane and tail of the horse. The mists of the fallen rain obscure the fir trees of the forest in the background.

From the artist: For this artwork, I was mainly interested in creating a black and blue theme. Of course, I included a lot of the elements that recur in my work: wind, stormy skies, and fog. I guess I really like my work to have a sense of weather.
