This is a print from one of Daniel's digital paintings.
A blanket appaloosa is a horse with a coat pattern that is characterized by a dark body with a white "blanket" over its back, hindquarters, and croup. The blanket may or may not have spots, and when it doesn't, it's sometimes called a "snowcap" pattern.
This was actually one of those works that I started years prior to publishing it then forgot about it due to my busy schedule. I found it while searching my hardrive for something else. I liked it and decided to finish it up. I'm quite happy with the results, but it has more of that rougher style of my earlier days.
