This is a print from one of Daniel's oil pastel works.
An orange tabby cat leaps over a log. Perhaps he is pouncing on a bird, mouse, or chipmunk. Still, he could be running and jumping just for the sheer joy of being outside.
From the artist: I never had an orange cat as a pet, but my two black cats always seem to have a blast when they go outside (and usually bring back a chipmunk as a pet of their own). I chose however to depict an orange cat for a more artistic reason, the color just seems to pop more. For one of my smaller oil pastel works, I was still very happy at how well the details worked out on this one.
The original is a 12" x 9" work on Uart sanded paper made using Sennelier oil pastels with some Faber Castell Polychromos colored pencils for the details.
